Retail Associate + Creative Studio Assistant

About Us
District DabbleLab is a creative arts & crafts studio and retail shop in Bethesda, MD. We offer open studio, classes, birthday parties, and events — all designed to inspire creativity for kids and adults. We’re looking for an outgoing, energetic, self-starter who can help with every aspect of our business: retail, studio, classes, and events.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers of all ages (kids, parents, adults)

• Support open studio, classes, and birthday parties (setup, helping guests, clean-up)

• Run the register, manage transactions, and assist with retail sales

• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming studio environment

• Restock and organize supplies and retail merchandise

• Provide friendly guidance during arts & crafts projects

• Assist with events, classes, workshops, and other programs

 

Qualifications

• Outgoing, engaging personality — comfortable talking with all ages

• Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently

• Friendly and patient, with excellent customer service skills

• Interest in arts, crafts, or creative projects

• Retail, teaching, or event experience a big plus

• Available to work weekends and occasional evenings

Job Type

• Part-time (with potential for more hours as we grow)
