Do you love kids, creativity, and bringing fun energy into a room?
District DabbleLab is a colorful arts and crafts studio in Bethesda where kids come to celebrate birthdays, make art, and have joyful creative experiences. We host craft parties, creative camps, classes, and special events for kids...and we’re looking for friendly, energetic team members who love working with children and providing great customer service to families.
This is a part-time weekend position ideal for college students, camp counselors, teachers, babysitters, performers, or anyone who enjoys working with kids in a fun, creative environment.
About the Role
At District DabbleLab, staff members are more than instructors — they are creative party hosts. Your role is to help create a welcoming, upbeat environment where kids feel excited to create and parents feel confident they are in great hands.
You’ll be helping lead craft activities, celebrating kids’ creativity, supporting birthday parties, and providing excellent customer service to families visiting the studio.
Responsibilities
• Host and assist with children’s birthday parties and studio events
• Lead simple craft activities with enthusiasm and positivity
• Create a fun, welcoming atmosphere for kids and families
• Encourage creativity and celebrate children’s artwork
• Provide friendly, attentive customer service to parents and guests
• Help greet families and make guests feel comfortable in the studio
• Assist with party setup, organization, and cleanup
• Keep the studio tidy, organized, and ready for guests
• Support other studio activities such as classes, camps, and events when needed
