Step into the world of contemporary art and discover the creativity that shapes today’s art world! We will explore the vibrant styles and bold ideas of modern and contemporary artists. From abstract masterpieces to pop art and surrealism, campers will be inspired by the art movements that continue to transform how we see the world. Each day, kids will dive into hands-on art projects inspired by famous artists like Warhol, Kandinsky, Kusama, Koons, etc . They will learn how to express their feelings through colors, shapes, and designs while experimenting with unique materials and techniques. Whether it's creating abstract paintings, making collages, or trying their hand at street art, each activity will encourage campers to explore their individual artistic voices. Beyond art projects, campers will engage in STEAM activities, discover the science behind color mixing and symmetry, and get creative with dance and movement inspired by the art they’re creating. Through books and fun discussions, they’ll explore how art shapes culture and society, and how they can use their own artwork to express ideas and emotions. By the end of the week, campers will showcase their original masterpieces in a mini art gallery, celebrating their creativity and newfound artistic skills. Whether your child is a budding artist or just curious about modern art, this week offers the perfect blend of fun, education, and self-expression.
Policies
Cancellation & Refund Policy: Full payment is due at the time of enrollment. If you cancel your child’s enrollment prior to April 15, we will issue a full refund minus a $75 administrative fee. Cancellations made on or after April 15 are nonrefundable. If District DabbleLab cancels camp for any reason, we will issue a full refund. Missed Days: Camp fees are not prorated for missed days due to illness, vacation, or scheduling conflicts. Illness Policy: Children must stay home if they have a fever, vomiting, diarrhea, or contagious illness within the previous 24 hours. Late Pick‑Up Policy: Children may not be left unattended before drop‑off or after pick‑up times. A late pick‑up fee of $1 per minute will apply after a five‑minute grace period. Assumption of Risk & Liability Waiver: I understand that participation in arts and crafts activities involves the use of materials and tools. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation and release District DabbleLab, its owners, and staff from liability except in cases of gross negligence.
